If you can find site that belong to others to post on and leave your links, more power to you. It’s not easy to do, but it can certainly be effective. It’s also a good way to drive real visitors and site traffic to your site. As long as you’re not paying to post on someone’s site you can techically be within Google’s terms of service as well.
